Brand design to unite sister companies
Geotechnics is New Zealand’s leading engineering testing and monitoring company with 60 years of history. Lemonade was approached to strengthen the brand identity which was marketed through its sister brand, MCC.
Our challenge was to unite Geotechnics and MCC under one cohesive brand family while keeping their individuality as stand-alone, but related business units & brands.
Collaboration with both in-house teams revealed the importance of “People + Precision”. This mantra became the foundation for a strong, flexible brand identity. The logo gave a nod to a target for precision and an exposed core of the earth. To create a distinctive yet connected identity, we flipped the mark for MCC, reinforcing their relationship while preserving their uniqueness.
